Polar Soundsystem Launch Party
Polar Audio, formerly known as South West Sound System, held their third consecutive party in North Nibley, Gloucestershire. In 2023, we collectively stepped up the production levels from the previous years.
We played a pivotal role in the production for all three years. In 2023, we assumed the role of production manager, aiding in planning of the site layout, evaluating the risk and producing risk assementd for the license application, supplying, rigging, programming, and operating the rigging, lasers, lighting, and site lighting from our hire stock.
Anticipating adverse weather conditions, we proactively provided a stretch tent as a contingency plan. This preemptive measure ensured that the equipment remained safeguarded and that attendees were sheltered, thereby guaranteeing the seamless execution of the event.

Polar Audio 2024
This year, we made a significant leap in our production value by incorporating a host of new elements designed to elevate the overall experience to a whole new level. We upgraded our lighting setup, deploying a more advanced and intricate system to ensure maximum impact. A pair of state-of-the-art 10-watt lasers were also introduced, adding a mesmerizing layer of visuals, capable of producing stunning, high-intensity light shows that enhanced the dynamic and immersive atmosphere.
To further enhance the production, we implemented a truss goal post setup, which brought a new level of structural sophistication and versatility to the stage design. This not only allowed us to rig more lighting fixtures at elevated heights for optimal coverage and intensity, but also provided a strong, reliable rigging structure for our stretch tent canopy setup. This dual-purpose design allowed for seamless integration of lighting, visuals, and tent infrastructure, creating a cohesive, professional, and visually striking environment.
