The client commissioned a mesmerizing laser and projection mapping display to serve as the centerpiece for their event at Loco Klub. This project required creating the rigging infrastructure for the decor from scratch, as the client provided no prior setup. To address this, I created a scaffolding frame to facilitate the secure mounting of the decor. To ensure setup was straightforward, the decor was fully prepared in my warehouse ahead of the event to guarantee seamless installation on the night.
Upon arrival at Loco Klub, the scaffolding was efficiently erected, and the decor secured on the front stage in tunnel 2. To achieve optimal visibility from the dance floor, it had to be positioned relatively high while also considering the venue's arched roof constraints.

To achieve optimal visibility from the dance floor, it had to be positioned relatively high while also considering the venue's arched rFor the laser mapping, two Tarm 2.5 lasers were deployed to ensure each covered only one side of the decor, preventing over-scanning due to the short distance that the lasers were rigged from the stage. The mapping and effects were implemented using Pangolin's Beyond software, resulting in a captivating visual experience.
A pair of Christie LX650 projectors were also deployed for projection mapping of the decor, with MadMapper being used to seamlessly integrate video content and built-in generators. All the mapping was controlled through Avolites, seamlessly triggering the venue's lights, lasers, and projections throughout the event
Disorder
and projection mapped for their upcoming event series. To do this, we used MadMapper to map the artworks and utilized content generators to layer the effects. Then, using MadLaser, we mapped the outline of the 'Disorder logo'. We then used Mad to trigger Beyond to fully laser map the artwork as we found that the output from Beyond appeared much clearer. Through the Beyond software, we utilized distributed scanning to fully map it in sections.
